Research / Whitepapers

What the industry
is reporting now.

The two most recently published major public cybersecurity reports, summarised from their primary sources and linked to the originals. They are not Secureline research. Secureline's own whitepaper is still an unpublished outline.

How these two were chosen

Newest first, as of 14 October 2026.

Most recently published annual reports from a set of well-known, free, publicly downloadable cybersecurity reports we checked: Microsoft Digital Defense Report, ENISA Threat Landscape, IBM Cost of a Data Breach, Verizon DBIR and Mandiant M-Trends. 'Top' is an editorial choice, not a ranking of quality, and this is not an exhaustive survey of every vendor or agency report.

Also checked, and published earlier: IBM Cost of a Data Breach Report 2026 (2026-07-29); Verizon 2026 Data Breach Investigations Report (2026-05-19/20 (sources differ)); Mandiant M-Trends 2026 (2026-03-23).
